We were just notified that our business park is repaving the parking lots this weekend, starting first thing Saturday, August 15. We know that's short notice, we only heard about it ourselves yesterday, but the HOA has been great to work with, and we didn't want anyone showing up Saturday without a heads-up.
Here's what's changing, and more importantly, exactly how we're making sure your Saturday appointment still goes off without a hitch.
What's happening
Saturday, August 15 (all day): Our normal front parking and entrance will be closed for paving all day. We have modified our hours and will be closing at 3pm today (not 5pm)
Where to park and check in Saturday
Since our usual front spots are off limits, we've set up a temporary check-in and parking area just outside the paving zone (marked in blue on the map below). Pull in there and we'll meet you.

From the check-in area, it's a short walk down to our door.
Dropping off your pet
Walk in: If you're able, just walk your pet in with you from the check-in area. It's a short stroll, and honestly, this might be the most scenic parking lot entrance we've ever had.
Need a hand: If walking isn't easy for you, don't worry about it. Meet us at the check-in area and we'll come out with a slip lead and walk your pet in for you.
Picking up your pet
Same idea, in reverse. Walking in to grab your pet yourself is the easiest option for everyone, and we'd genuinely love to see you. But if that's not possible:
Let us know, and we'll bring your pet out to the check-in area for you.
Can't make it in at all? Just text us and we'll send you a payment link and coordinate the best way to check out.
Questions, or need to make a plan?
Text us at the same number your appointment reminders come from and we'll sort it out together. We're keeping our phones close all day Saturday specifically for this.
We're sorry for the short notice. But we'd rather over-communicate and make sure everyone has an easy, low-stress visit. Thank you for rolling with us and your patience tomorrow. We can't wait to see you (and your very good dog) soon.
With gratitude,
