One Year in Our New Home, and We’re Celebrating with You!

It’s hard to believe we’re already celebrating one year at our Orenco location! Moving into our new home was a big step for Cute Cuts, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing clients, pet parents, and community members who continue to support us.

As a thank-you, we’re giving away six prizes across Facebook and Instagram! That means three winners on each platform.

How to Enter

We’re running separate giveaways on Facebook and Instagram, so you can participate on either platform or both.

Official Rules and Terms & Conditions

1. Sponsor

The Cute Cuts One-Year Anniversary Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Cute Cuts Hillsboro LLC, operating under the Assumed Business Name (ABN) Cute Cuts Dog Grooming and Self Wash (“Sponsor”).

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on October 21, 2026, and ends on October 31, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time (“Giveaway Period”).

Entries submitted before or after the Giveaway Period will not be eligible.

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to residents of Oregon who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, owners, and immediate household members of Cute Cuts Hillsboro LLC are not eligible to enter.

Winners must be able to redeem their prizes in person at Cute Cuts Dog Grooming and Self Wash in Hillsboro, Oregon. Transportation and other expenses associated with redeeming a prize are the winner’s responsibility.

Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility before awarding any prize.

4. Separate Facebook and Instagram Giveaways

The Giveaway consists of two separate promotions:

  • One Giveaway conducted on the Cute Cuts Facebook page.

  • One Giveaway conducted on the Cute Cuts Instagram account.

Each platform will have its own entry pool, random drawing, and three winners.

Participants may enter on both platforms, provided they satisfy the applicable entry requirements for each platform.

Entering on one platform does not automatically enter a participant into the drawing on the other platform.

5. How to Enter

During the Giveaway Period, eligible participants may enter through the designated Giveaway post on either the official Cute Cuts Facebook page or Instagram account.

To enter on either platform, participants must complete all of the following steps:

  1. Like the Giveaway post.

  2. Follow the Cute Cuts Facebook page or Instagram account.

  3. Comment on the Giveaway post and tag a friend.

Completing these steps earns one entry. Each additional friend tagged in a separate comment earns one bonus entry, up to three total entries per person per platform. Tagging the same friend more than once, or tagging fake or business accounts, does not earn additional entries.

The entry instructions in the Giveaway posts are intended to match these Official Rules. If there is any difference, these Official Rules control.

Duplicate or fraudulent entries, entries submitted through automated means, and entries that otherwise fail to satisfy the entry requirements may be disqualified.

No purchase is necessary to enter or win. A purchase does not increase the chances of winning.

Sharing the Giveaway post is not required to enter.

6. Prizes

Three prizes will be awarded through Facebook and three through Instagram, for a total of six prizes.

Each platform will award the following:

Prize 1: Complimentary Dog Groom

  • One complimentary dog grooming service.

  • Maximum prize value: $200.

  • If the cost of the groom is more than $200, the winner is responsible for paying the difference.

  • Actual service value depends on the dog’s breed, size, coat condition, grooming needs, and applicable service pricing.

  • The prize covers one grooming appointment and does not include additional services outside the scope of the awarded groom.

Prize 2: Complimentary Self-Wash

  • One complimentary self-wash session.

  • Value: $20.

Prize 3: Complimentary Nail Trim

  • One complimentary nail trim.

  • Value: $20.

The maximum total value of prizes awarded on each platform is $240. The maximum combined value of all six prizes is $480.

Prizes are nontransferable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be resold. No substitutions will be provided except at the Sponsor’s discretion or where required by law.

Any service beyond the specific prize awarded will be the winner’s responsibility and may be subject to the regular service fees.

7. Prize Drawings and Odds of Winning

Winners will be selected through random drawings conducted on or about November 1, 2026.

One winner for each of the three prize categories will be selected from eligible Facebook entries, and one winner for each of the three prize categories will be selected from eligible Instagram entries.

Each person may win only one prize across both giveaways. If a person is selected more than once, Sponsor will keep the first prize drawn and select a new winner for any additional prize through a new random drawing.

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received on the applicable platform.

Sponsor’s decisions regarding the administration of the Giveaway and selection of winners will be final, subject to applicable law.

8. Winner Notification and Response

Potential winners will be contacted through the social media account used to enter. Winners will also be tagged in the winner announcement post.

Each potential winner must respond within 72 hours of the initial notification unless Sponsor specifies a different response period in the notification.

If a potential winner does not respond within the required period, cannot be reached, is found to be ineligible, or declines the prize, Sponsor may select an alternate winner through a new random drawing.

Sponsor is not responsible for notifications that are missed, filtered, blocked, or otherwise not received.

Winners may be announced on Cute Cuts’ social media accounts. A winner’s social media username may be included in the announcement.

9. Prize Redemption

All prizes must be redeemed by May 1, 2027, six months after the drawing date.

Prizes must be scheduled in advance and are subject to appointment availability.

Winners must contact Cute Cuts to arrange their appointments and must comply with the business’s normal booking, cancellation, late-arrival, pet care, safety, and service policies.

A prize may not be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or applied toward a previous appointment or purchase.

Unused prizes will expire after the redemption deadline and will have no remaining value.

10. Pet Eligibility and Service Requirements

All grooming, self-wash, and nail trim services are subject to Cute Cuts’ standard service requirements and safety procedures.

The winning dog must be suitable for the service being requested. Cute Cuts may require information about the dog’s health, behavior, coat condition, vaccination status, or other relevant needs before confirming an appointment.

If a dog’s condition, behavior, or needs make the awarded service unsafe or inappropriate, Cute Cuts may decline or discontinue the service.

Where reasonably possible, Cute Cuts may discuss an appropriate alternative service with the winner. Any alternative is subject to mutual agreement and applicable law.

If a prize cannot be safely or appropriately provided, Sponsor reserves the right to determine a reasonable resolution consistent with these rules and applicable law.

11. Customer Conduct and Business Policies

Winners must treat Cute Cuts employees, contractors, other customers, and animals respectfully and must comply with all applicable business policies and staff instructions.

Cute Cuts reserves the right to refuse, discontinue, or decline to schedule service when reasonably necessary due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Abusive, threatening, harassing, or discriminatory conduct.

  • Failure to comply with reasonable business policies or staff instructions.

  • Conduct that creates a safety concern for people or animals.

  • A pet’s health, behavior, or condition making the requested service unsafe or inappropriate.

  • Other legitimate operational or safety concerns.

These requirements apply to Giveaway winners in the same manner as they apply to other customers.

If a winner cannot redeem a prize because of a legitimate safety concern or material policy violation, Sponsor may determine an appropriate resolution consistent with these rules and applicable law.

Nothing in these rules requires Cute Cuts to provide a service that it reasonably determines cannot be performed safely or appropriately.

12. Privacy and Publicity

Information collected through the Giveaway will be used for Giveaway administration, eligibility verification, winner notification, and prize fulfillment.

By entering, participants acknowledge that Sponsor may use their social media usernames to administer the Giveaway and announce winners.

Any additional use of a winner’s photograph, testimonial, or personal information for marketing purposes will be subject to applicable law and any consent required by law.

Participants should not submit sensitive personal information in public comments.

13. Facebook and Instagram Disclaimer

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc.

By entering, participants release Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Platforms, Inc. from responsibility for the administration of this Giveaway to the extent permitted by applicable law.

All questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Giveaway should be directed to Cute Cuts Hillsboro LLC and not to Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Platforms, Inc.

14. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these rules, attempts to interfere with the Giveaway, submits fraudulent entries, or otherwise acts in a manner that compromises the fair administration of the promotion.

If the Giveaway cannot operate as intended due to fraud, technical problems, platform issues, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control, Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Giveaway as permitted by law.

Any changes will be communicated through Cute Cuts’ official social media accounts when reasonably practicable.

Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures, internet or platform outages, lost or delayed entries, or other issues beyond its reasonable control.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Sponsor is not responsible for losses, damages, or claims arising from participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, or use of a prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these rules excludes or limits any rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

16. Governing Law

The Giveaway and these rules are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, subject to applicable federal law.

These Official Rules will be available on the Cute Cuts website during the Giveaway Period and through May 1, 2027.

18. Acceptance of Rules

By entering the Giveaway, participants acknowledge that they have read and agree to these Official Rules and any applicable entry instructions published by Cute Cuts for the Giveaway.
