Friends, we’re so excited to finally share some big news—Cute Cuts is moving to a brand-new home in Orenco! 🎉

What: Cute Cuts is moving!

When: Late October 2025. Timing depends on when the build-out is complete

Why: To find our forever home and create the space we need to grow while better serving our community. 

How you can help:

1. Booking your appointments out—especially as we head into the holidays. This will make sure you stay on schedule with your favorite groomer as we grow our team to meet the extra demand.


2. Referrals and your continued support. It would mean the world if you’d share our name with someone in your circle. Word of mouth is how we’ve grown, and we’re so thankful for it. 


The Details


As much as we’ve loved and are grateful for our Walnut Street shop, it’s time to take the next step. Our new location will give us the space to grow in ways we’ve needed for a while to serve you, and your pups, even better.


What’s especially exciting is that we’ve structured this move to also create a pathway to property ownership. As a family-owned business, that extra security means so much, and it’s been a dream of ours from the very beginning. Seeing it finally come together feels incredible.


We also want to be transparent: this move is about more than just space. As more corporate franchises pop up in Hillsboro, we know some people love having options. But for those who value local, family-run businesses, we want you to know Cute Cuts isn’t going anywhere. As one of Googles highest rated salons in the state, our promise is to keep focusing on what we do best. This move allows us to grow while staying true to what sets us apart: personal, all-inclusive, pet-focused care, built on trust.


Our Favorite Things About the New Location


  • Quietly tucked in the back corner of a business park (not street-facing), chosen for a calmer, less hectic puppy experience.

  • Green space right outside, plenty of parking, and a relaxed energy that felt “right” the very first time we saw it.

  • Self-wash can and is coming with us.

  • New private and semi-private rooms for pups who do best with fewer distractions, all while continuing our commitment to gentle, pet-focused grooming.

  • Room to expand thoughtfully over time (yes… cat grooming may be in the future 🐱).


How You Can Help


First thing, we are grateful and appreciate each and every one of you. We humbly request your patience, good vibes, prayers and positive energy. Change, even good change, always comes with challenges, and we’ll take all the support we can get from our amazing patrons.


Secondly, please consider booking your appointments into the holiday season. As schedules fill up, we want to ensure our clients can be seen by their preferred groomers. Being on the schedule will help us plan and scale appropriately.

Questions You May Have


Q: How far is it from the current location?

A: Just about 2.5 miles—less than 8 minutes up the road but travel times will be different based on where you are coming from.


Q: Will my grooming prices go up with the new location?

A: No — your current price will not increase just because of the move. The only exception would be if your pup is already due for a routine price adjustment (for example, if it has been quite a while since your last increase). Those standard updates may still apply.


Q: The new location isn’t street-facing—are you nervous about losing visibility?

A: Not at all. We put a lot of thought into this move, looking at many different spaces, and it helped clarify what we truly want from our forever home. Cute Cuts has always been a destination—our clients seek us out because they want the best care for their pups. While drive-by visibility has some value, our ideal client is someone who researches and chooses the right groomer, not just the one they happen to pass by.


Q: Are you adding new services?

A: For now, we’ll continue to focus on what we do best: professional, all inclusive (no confusing packages) pet first grooming, bathing, self-wash, dog and cat nail trims. But the new space allows for future growth (like cat grooming!).


Q: Will my upcoming appointment be affected?

A: Not until the move date is official. All booked appointments will automatically transfer to the new location once we open there.


Q: I'm afraid that I won't know where to go for my appointment once the location change occurs.

A: Don't worry! You will be over communicated with and will receive no less then 3 reminders all including the new address for your appointment.
